Jamboree

 

The next Jamboree will be May 10, 2008

 

The Texas Jamboree is typically held the second Saturday of each month (doors open at 5:00 pm, Jamboree 7-10 pm). We offer a clean, wholesome, smoke-free, alcohol-free, and family environment. Dinner, snacks, and sodas are available. The post is wheelchair accessible.

One notable member of the band recently has been Bud Harger, a pedal steel guitarist, who was proudly inducted into the Seattle Western Swing Music Society's 2007 Pioneers of Western Swing Hall of Fame in 2007.  On August 12, 2007 he proudly accepted this award at a ceremony in Seattle, Washington.

Bring the whole family. There's also a door prize drawing.

 

Admission is $5, with children under age 12 accompanied with an adult costing only $3.

 

The kitchen menu typically includes items like bar-b-que sandwiches, hamburgers, hot dogs, nachos, and pie for dessert.  Coffee, tea, popcorn, sodas, chips, and candy are also available.
